  project: Chip handled the Ubuntu Linux server configuration and ongoing maintenance hosted on Amazon's EC2 infrastructure, as well as web development of this golfer's fraternity using Ruby on Rails, Braintree for credit card processing, Javascript Prototype (Unobtrusively, as much as possible), MySQL, HAML and SASS. The front end work was produced by Rails Interactive of Austin, TX.

  project: This website is Chip's own creation, drawing from many years working as a web developer, always needing a way to easily invoice his clients. Most prominent features include simple signup, wizard-style setup of accounts, ability to manage client list, manage rates for services, quickly invoice clients, download invoices in PDF format and accept invoice payments via PayPal. This site runs on Ruby on Rails, Braintree, MySQL, Apache/nginx and Ubuntu Linux at SliceHost.

  project: For the last decade, this client has depended on Chip's web development and hosting services for their department's scheduling needs of MRI magnet units. This software was built using old school technology - Perl, CGI, HTML and flat data files, but it has served this client's needs reliably well during that long term. This site is hosted on Ubuntu Linux at SliceHost.

  project: For this major soccer site, Chip used javascript to stop playing flash videos when lightboxes were activated, assisted with Capistrano deployment recipes, git repository maintenance, Ruby on Rails consulting and setup Amazon EBS (Elastic Block Storage) for additional space required by the soccer videos. The front end work was produced by Rails Interactive of Austin, TX.

  project: Ruby on Rails development on an Amazon EC2 server that included a custom built shopping cart that integrated with ActiveMerchant for purchasing semiconductor products, usage of Javascript Prototype framework to assist with tabbed and accordion-style navigation of pages, various sales request forms & mailers, and seeding of the database for testing. The front end work was produced by Rails Interactive of Austin, TX.

  project: Eborhood is a social networking website built using Ruby on Rails where Chip created the Credit System using ActiveMerchant to allow subscribers to purchase products, offer tips and cash out their accounts. The MooTools javascript framework was used for various AJAX-driven updates of user profiles, as well as hooks for autocompletion of universities and states' settings. Additionally, Chip provided Linux systems administration services on the Amazon EC2 servers that hosted this site. The front end work was produced by Rails Interactive of Austin, TX.

  project: Environmental Test Solutions website is one of Chip's most recent works. It is a Ruby on Rails site that includes an AJAX contact form and a Resume file upload form, both written in the Mootools javascript framework. Chip also assisted with the setup of the Amazon EC2 server and configuration of the DNS zone records. The front end work was produced by Rails Interactive of Austin, TX.
